The Teac VP-101N is the world's only single-channel expandable voice-logging and recording solution that features Ethernet / LAN access for expandability and scalability. The system could be expanded easily with "Centralized" control. It is "Disaster-Recovery" ready. Centralized control reduces cost of operation and maintenance, and increases the efficiency of the recordings and the monitoring. Up to 24 VP-101N's can be managed from one PC alone. Competitors' units operate through USB connection only which is not expandable.
VP-101N features "endless" hours of recording. It stores the data not only on its internal storage but also on the server storage automatically. No other product offers this unique feature as they only store the data on their internal storage which is limited and risky. VP-101N stores the data on the server which then can be searched and monitored from centralized location.
VP-101N features 24 KHz sampling rate. This means you will get the "BEST" sound quality recording possible! No other voice-recorder in this class offers 24 KHz sampling rate! Only 8KHz!
With the special built-in "Fail-Safe" mode, you could be assured that VP-101N will continue to record even if the server storage fails. VP-101N has a switch that senses any server problems and will automatically switch to its internal storage to continue recording. Again, no other competitors' units in its class offers this unique feature.
VP-101N features 3-Mode Triggers: VOX (Voice-operated recording), External and Command triggers, or a combination of all the three modes. VP-101N monitors and records missed calls or disconnects. Other voice-logging systems will stop recording if the line is accidentally disconnected. With VP-101N, the recording will continue even if the line or phone is suddenly disconnected. VP-101N is "Powered-over-Ethernet" (PoE). There is no need to use AC power adapter. Electric power is supplied via LAN cable from PoE hub.
VP-101N is designed for branch offices of insurance companies, law firms, banks, brokerage houses, doctor and dental offices, clinics, schools and universities, government organizations, and small call centers to exchange and share the archived voice information. It could also be used at Small Office / Home Offices (SOHO) to record daily phone conversations to potentially resolve any disputes saving the customers thousands of dollars by avoiding costly litigations.
VP-101N is also designed to be used at convenience stores, retail stores and grocery stores to record ambient sound and conversations in conjunction with the surveillance cameras installed to record activities. Currently, there are only limited solutions for recording high quality audio when recording images with the security cameras. VP- 101N presents the best solution for this application. Other applications for VP-101N are Corporate Satellite and Outside Sales Offices that record daily customer calls in each location to improve customer service, response-time and for training purposes.
VP-101N is DHCP-capable. As factory default setting, VP-101N will acquire the IP address from DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server first. If there is no DHCP on network, then VP-101N will use the default IP address. If customer's network has DHCP server, VP-101N can acquire the IP address from the DHCP server. VP-101N's player software, which is provided as standard accessory, can search and acquire the list of the VP-101N units connected to the network. |
