The Speco line of DVRs has the ability to be accessed on the Mac products such as iPod, iPad & iPhone via Safari for live viewing only. Playback, Backing Up Recorded Data, Changing Settings can only be done via the DVR or through the Mac or Windows client software. The Mac client software can only be installed on a Mac laptop or PC and not on an iPad, iPhone or iPod.

Configuration means setting up a rule inside your router’s firewall and configuring your DVR properly. This service is available through U-Spy for an additional charge. Customers with good technical knowledge of routers, firewalls and other related IT issues may be able to configure on their own. Configuration is not recommended for the layman or persons unfamiliar in this area.
